As we continue our study of wood and paper, we focused this week on wood construction. With the generous donation of wood pieces by Mr. and Mrs. Congdon, students were able to create a Santa's Workshop.

| We enjoyed reading Apple Tree Christmas by Trinka Hakes Noble before we began our wood construction. This is a beautiful story about a family who had a special apple tree and how a tree can be used in very unique and special ways. |
