Our science investigation this week began with the question about what happens when paper gets wet. The students made a hypothesis that the color would change. They were using what they learned during our investigations with wood. This was exciting!
In conclusion, we learned that some paper will absorb water and some paper does not. We saw water beads form on the paper that repelled the water. We discussed which paper would be good for cleaning up water and which paper would be good for protecting things from water.
